Would like – Want

İngilizce'de istediğimiz ya da yapmak istediğimiz durumlardan bahsederken ‘would like' ve ‘want' kullanırız. Bunların kullanıldığı cümlelerde ikinci fiil kullanılırsa, fiilin başına ‘to' eklenir.
Ex:
I want a sandwich.
I want to have a sandwich
The children want candies.
The children want to eat candies
The doctor would like some orange juice.
The doctor would like to drink some orange juice.
My daughter would like a car.
My daughter would like to have a car.

NOT: ‘Would like', ‘want' kullanımına göre daha resmidir.
