WHAT A LUCKY DAY
lucky
The speaker: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. This is a very beautiful evening which the stars are shining brightly in the sky. I’m here with a little girl who is very nice and smart. Do you remember we have told you about a woman who lost her daughter in a big shopping centre. Now her daughter is with us at the studio. What a beautiful day, isn’t it Kelly?
The little girl: Yes, it is, sir. I’m happy but I want you to bring me my mother. I miss her very much.
The speaker: Of course sweety, we want Mrs Sun to phone us now. Firstly can you tell us your story in the shopping centre?
Ladies
The little girl: Of course sir. We were looking at the shops with my mother to find a dress for me. I saw a very beautiful red dress. I asked the shopkeeper how much it was. We were talking. When I looked for mum in the shop I couldn’t see her. I wanted to look around and went to the other shops. I still couldn’t see her. I was crying when a gentleman came and asked me why I was crying. I couldn’t say anything. He brought me to his house. After watching your programme on TV, he brought me here.
The speaker: Didn’t he ask you ‘What your name was’ or ‘who your mother is?’
The little girl: He wanted me to tell everything but I couldn’t say a word for a week.
The speaker: What a bad thing! But here is a good thing for you. Your mum is here at the studio and she wants to see you very much. Do you want to see her?
The little girl: Of course I do.
The speaker: OK. I want you to go and kiss your mum now.Ladies and gentlemen this is the end of the programme. See you tomorrow.
