Bağlaç olarak kullanılır. İki cümleyi birbirine bağlar.
– We don’t speak loudly in English classes in case our teacher gets angry.
(Öğretmenimiz kızmasın diye İngilizce derslerinde yüksek sesle konuşmayız.)
So That
Bağlaç olarak kullanır. ‘–sın diye’ anlamını taşır.
İstenilen sonuca ulaşma amacı taşıyan cümlelerde kullanılır.
We must work hard so that our country improves.
Note: ‘So that’ ile ‘In case’ bağlaçlarını ayırmak için, ‘so that’in olumlu bir yargıyla; ‘in case’in ise olumsuz (istenmeyen) bir yargıyla birlikte kullanıldığını unutmayınız.

(Yağmurun yağması istenmeyen bir durumdur.)
b. I took a ticket for the concert so that we could see our favourite group.
(Sevilen grubu görmek istendik bir yargıdır.)
