The Simple Past Tense Exercise 2

Her zamanda olduğu gibi bu zamanda da olumsuz cümle ve soru cümlesi yapmak için kullanılan yöntem aynıdır. Basit geçmiş zamanın yardımcı fiil olan did olumsuz cümlelerde ve soru cümlelerinde ortaya çıkar ve bu sebeple fiiller yalın haline dönerler.

Aşağıdaki örneklerde bu açıkça görülmektedir.

A. NEGATIVE FORM

1. My mother DIDN't MAKE a cake for my birthday.
2. My father DIDN'T DRIVE to work yesterday.
3. We DIDN'TWATCH two movies yesterday night.
4. My friend and I DIDN'T STUDY for the exam.
5. My grandparents DIDN'T LIVE in İstanbul in 1985.
6. The tourists DIDN'T VISIT The Dolmabahçe Palace.
7. She DIDN'T COME home at 7 o'clock yesterday.
8. He DIDN'T BUY me a computer.
